Bicycle Posters

July 19, 2010

It would be great to live in an area where most places I needed to go were within a bike-able distance.  Philly is a huge bike-commuter city – and bicycles have become very trendy (for good reason).  Over at Poster Cabaret, they have a whole Bicycle Art section – guess it’s trendy to have bicycle art as well!

Freewheeling, Blanca Gomez – $25
Birdcycle, Methane Studios – $25
Beep Beep bicycle, Vahalla Studios – $25

Beautiful hand drawn illustrations from Girls Can Tell, each individually printed onto a floursack towel.  Lovely.

{and she’s from Philly!}

Temple iPad Cases

July 15, 2010

I wish I had a reason to carry an iPad around all the time (and the money to buy a case from Temple Bags!) – they just came out with 12 different variations!

The Earth from Above

July 14, 2010

Gorgeous photos from photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand.  These are from his book ‘The Earth From Above’

Whenever I walk by the natural soaps at Whole Foods (or Lush), I’m always tempted to buy.  Maybe it’s the practicality of soap mixed with the ‘smells so good I could eat it’ – and all the different colors and textures don’t hurt either!  I am usually about to resist, settling for smelling all of them at least – but it’s still fun to look.  Check out these offerings from Lippincott Soap Co – the sea salt caramels would probably fall into the ‘smells so good I could eat it’ category!

Home Tour

July 7, 2010

Bear with me as I ease back into the blogging world.  It’s been a whirl-wind of a month or so – and now it’s time to settle back down into a new normal.

Today I’m loving these home tour images.  I especially love the bedroom bedspread and the upright piano.
