This print from Mary Kate McDevitt totally resonates with me!  It feels great to be in a bit of a ‘spring cleaning’ mode just getting life stuff done. Part of that for me is always lists, which her Mini Goals Chalkboards would be helpful for!

Calming Green

April 25, 2011

It’s been a long day today {starting at 5am!} so these pieces by Matthew Rich are a nice calming green to end the day with.

Guest House

April 22, 2011

Beautiful images from a cute little guest house.  I love how open and airy it is and the great outdoor space!

Yusuke Aida

April 21, 2011

I’m usually not one to go for rainbow stripes {my mind jumps to Fruit Strip Gum} but in the case of this sugar and creamer set by Yusuke Aida I can handle it.  I love the delicate stripes and the detail into the handle on the mug – also, I think the clean wooden base helps ground the craziness of the stripes.

She Rides Above It

This print - She Rides Above It - reminds me of a combination of Mary Poppins and Mrs. Armitage!

Flowers for Spring

April 18, 2011

I feel that spring is coming along rather slowly here in Philadelphia – and I guess by that I mean the spring weather.  I have been noticing flowers on trees and bushes popping out, but the grey weather we seem to continually have keeps the mood a bit, well, grey.  I thought I would find some pretty flower arrangements to help keep spring coming!

Want : Cookie Cutters

April 13, 2011

Every once in awhile I stumble upon a kitchen accessory that seems so necessary to have in my kitchen – and then I remind myself that I cannot collect massive amounts of items I use ‘for that special occasion’ until I have a more permanent home and one with lots of storage space!  These cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma are adorable and they come with slide in letters and words to customize your message.  I also had to throw in these Star Wars cookie cutters for my sister – is there a new movie coming out or something?  They had a lot of Star Wars options!

John & Sally

April 12, 2011

If I was getting married tomorrow I would want these invitations!  Such a simple yet well designed layout – and the thing that always seals the deal for me, vintage-y patterned fabric!  These were created by John Argyle for his own wedding.

I have been talking forever about getting my best friend’s adorable puppy a little bow tie so that he can be a dapper young pup.  I thought I would have to make him one, but doing a little browsing I found these cute options!
