ICFF: Tim Byrne
May 21, 2010
As I mentioned – I have a lot of ICFF material to get through, so I’m definitely going to up my posting for a bit to get all of this content in without dragging it out. Check back throughout the day for more ICFF coverage!
First up: Tim Byrne uses reclaimed industrial objects to create beautiful tables – I wish one of these would fit in my house!

ICFF: Zoe Mowat
May 20, 2010
I picked up a card for Zoe Mowat’s work over at the designboom mart. Her pieces are wonderfully crafted with a nice balance of wood, pops of color, and industrial felt. It seems her newest exploration is the chair on the left – I definitely want to stay on the lookout for more items from her in the future!

ICFF: Elisa Strozyk
May 20, 2010
I had seen Elisa Strozyk’s wooden carpet before – but this was the first time I had seen the concept applied to lighting. It was definitely stunning. The surface of the lampshade is broken down into triangles which creates a moveable structure that can be manipulated.

ICFF 2010
May 20, 2010
This past Saturday I drove up to NYC {with some amazing pals} for a day trip to take in the wonders of the ICFF. ICFF = International Contemporary Furniture Fair and this is where the latest products from around the globe make their appearance state side. This was my second year going and I was excited to take it all in again – it’s such a visual overload! As I sift through my pictures and all the pamphlets/postcards/brochures that I picked up I’ll be sure to post about some of my favorites from this year.
{clockwise} Blu Dot, Areaware, Jonathan Adler, Snob, Council, Kenneth Cobonpue
